1. Who this policy is for

This policy explains how the Fredrick iPhone app ("Fredrick", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. It applies to the app and to this website, fredrickapp.com. Fredrick is operated by [legal entity / owner name].

Fredrick is a cycle-tracking app designed for the partner of the person whose cycle is being tracked. Because it deals with sensitive health information about another person, it is built to be used with that person's knowledge and consent (see section 9).

2. What Fredrick stores — and where

Everything you enter is stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage. It is never uploaded, synced to a cloud, or transmitted to us or anyone else. The information Fredrick keeps on your phone includes:

• Period start dates (and optional end dates) that you enter.
• Optional mood and symptom notes you choose to log.
• An optional first name or nickname you may add, just for your own reference.
• Your app settings, such as notification preferences.

Because this data lives only on your device, it is protected by your iPhone's own security (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and iOS app sandboxing). If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.

3. What Fredrick does not collect

Fredrick does not require an account and does not collect personal information. Specifically, we do not:

• Ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email, or phone number.
• Send your cycle data, notes, or settings off your device.
• Use analytics, tracking, attribution, or advertising software of any kind.
• Collect your location, contacts, photos, health-app data, or device identifiers for tracking.
• Build a profile of you or share, rent, or sell data to anyone.

4. Notifications

If you turn on reminders, Fredrick schedules them locally on your device using iOS's notification system. Notification text is generated on your phone, is emoji-free, and never includes the tracked person's name. Nothing about your notifications is sent to us or any server.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Fredrick offers an optional subscription. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Fredrick never sees, receives, or stores your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID. Your subscription status is verified on your device against Apple's records; no personal payment information passes through us. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

6. Third parties

Fredrick contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs), advertising networks, or analytics services. The only third party involved is Apple, solely for distributing the app and processing subscription payments as described above.

7. Your control over your data

You are always in control. From within the app you can:

• Export your data to a file you keep, at any time.
• Delete individual entries, or erase everything in one step.
• Remove all data completely by deleting the app from your iPhone.

Because we hold no copy of your data, these actions are fully within your hands — there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to delete on our end.

8. Children

Fredrick is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect information at all.

9. Consent and someone else's health data

Fredrick is meant to be set up together with the person whose cycle is being tracked, with their knowledge and agreement. The information in the app is provided to help you be more understanding and supportive — not to monitor anyone without their consent. You are responsible for using Fredrick respectfully and lawfully, and for having that person's consent to record their information.

10. Security

Your data remains within the app's protected storage on your device and benefits from the security controls built into iOS. Because nothing is transmitted or stored on external servers, there is no central database that could be breached.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's release notes. Continuing to use Fredrick after an update means you accept the revised policy.
